Renewable energy and Newfoundland and Labrador’s potential for hydrogen and green energy development was on the agenda during a recent provincial government visit to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Despite a lucrative oil and gas industry, the UAE has trillions of dollars in capital for investment in renewable energy says Premier Andrew Furey and he’s pleased with the recent opportunity to discuss this province’s potential.

He’s hopeful the meeting with result in further investment in this province.

“It was important to get in front of their leaders…to let them know that Newfoundland and Labrador has all the key ingredients for hydrogen.”
