A 21-year-old man has been charged after police responded to a weapons offence at a home in the west end St. John’s overnight.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., police spoke to the complainant and witnesses at the residence and charged the 21-year-old with assault with a weapon.

The man was held for court.
