Braya Renewable Fuels is marking 50 years with a celebration in Come By Chance today. While celebrating the past, the company says it’s also celebrating the future of the industry.
The facility has gone through several identities over the past 50 years and will now be processing a replacement for diesel fuel. It officially launched production at an event today.
Braya CEO Todd O’Malley says their bio-diesel will serve everyone from people who have such a vehicle to heavy industry.
Come By Chance is one of the largest synthetic diesel facilities in the world.
He says the refinery was blessed withy a piece of equipment known as a hydro-cracker which is used to make ultra low-sulphur diesel, allowing them to keep costs down in the conversion process.
