People in Sheshatshiu can go about their normal business after a situation early this morning.
A man was seen walking through town with a firearm, prompting the RCMP to advise that everybody stay inside until they could get to the bottom of things.
There is no longer any risk to the public, but police remain in the area.

RCMP in central Labrador are looking for a man who was seen walking through town with a firearm.
The incident happened overnight on Messek Street in Sheshatshiu.
The intent and current location of 36-year-old Matthew Andrew are unknown, but RCMP have received information that he has a BB gun. Police says no threats or reports of its use have been received.
Residents are asked to stay inside and to provide any information they may have to police.
