Clocks “fall back” in the province this coming weekend, but a number of jurisdictions have decided not to follow with the tradition this fall, causing difficulties for some organizations.
A notification from Environment Canada on the time zone change confusion (via Government of Canada)
Environment Canada says because of changes in the time zones in some provinces and territories, times may not appear accurately on its website – although the content of alerts and forecasts remains accurate.
Environment Canada says it is in the process of updating its system to reflect those changes.
