The deadline for the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association’s latest fundraising campaign is fast approaching.

The cut-off for the sale of tickets on the CHHA-NL’s 50/50 lottery is midnight tonight.

Director of Fund Development Terry Martin told VOCM Open Line with Paddy Daly that the jackpot is substantial, and the money raised goes a long way in delivering their programs and services to help mitigate the effects of hearing loss.

He calls the $192,000 “a nice little prize to take away.”

Meanwhile, midnight tonight is the early bird deadline for Health Care Foundation’s Hospital Home Lottery.

The early bird prize is a 2024 BMW Cabriolet, or $70,000 in cash.
