A hairstylist from Conception Bay South has been awarded with the RBC Best Region Award at the 2024 Skills Canada National Competition.
Amy Pike, a Keyin College graduate, won $1,500 to go toward her education and future career in the trades.
More than 500 students from across the country participated in the event May 30 and 31 in Quebec City.
Pike calls the event “super fun.” She now owns her own business called The Bearded Dragon Barbershop in CBS.
