Health Canada has announced a recall of Daikin, Amana, and Goodman-branded heat pumps sold between May 2022 and April 2024.
A power interruption may cause the units to produce excessive heat, posing a safety risk.
Approximately 5,549 units were sold in Canada. Consumers are advised to turn off the units and contact Daikin for a software update. No incidents have been reported in Canada or the U.S.
