An incident involving weapons in the Conception Bay South area had several RNC units scrambling yesterday morning.

Police got the call about the situation around 10 a.m. Officers rushed to the scene, where the man believed to be responsible was taken into custody.

The 33-year-old has been charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats, resting arrest, and breach of a court order.

He was held for court.
