One of the province’s bucket-list tourism destinations has received a cash infusion to help make some upgrades to its historic structures.

The Battle Harbour Historic Trust received close to $150,000 in funding from the federal and provincial governments for changes to the Merchant Building and Grenfell Cottage to make them more accessible.

The money will also be used to improve some of the national historic site’s culinary offerings and help with marketing.
