A man who was trying to avoid the authorities didn’t get his wishes yesterday afternoon.
Officers on patrol on Blackmarsh Road in St. John’s spotted the man who was wanted on several outstanding warrants.
The 39-year-old decided to make a run for it, but didn’t make it too far. He’s now facing additional charges of carrying a concealed weapon, obstruction of justice, and breach of a release order.
He was held for court.
