There’s a clearer picture now of what Telegram readers can expect with the transition of Saltwire to Postmedia.

Based on a post issued to readers, the last print edition of the Telegram will be Saturday, August 24th.

After that time, the Telegram will switch to a weekly edition, arriving in subscriber mailboxes on Friday, August 30th.

The Telegram says its news coverage will continue seven days a week, however, there will be “no daily, printed or digital e-edition moving forward.”

Stories will be shared daily on the Saltwire website, and newsletters will continue for subscribers.

The Telegram’s printing press was not part of the purchase of Saltwire’s assets by Postmedia.
