Memorial University officials are expected to provide an update next week on progress on upgrades to the Aquarena.
The aging pool facility, which was built for the 1977 Canada Summer Games, requires upgrades to bring it up to modern standards for the games coming up in August.
For some time, questions have been circulating about whether or not the work will be completed on time.
MUN says project timelines are on track to have the facility ready for the big event.
In the meantime, officials are planning a project update complete with photos and video of the work happening sometime next week.
