The rains of November came early and often in the metro region, nudging up against all-time records on several fronts.
Yesterday marked the 20th consecutive day that some rain fell on the region.
According to St. John’s Weather Records on X (Twitter), that ties the second-most consecutive days in November in history with some rainfall.
The all-time record for consecutive wet days was set in 1910 when it rained every day of the month. Water fell from the sky for 20 days of the month in 1951, and again in November 2024.
