The St. Vincent de Paul Society in Carbonear is hosting its annual Turkey & Fixin’s Food Drive today in the Carbonear Home Hardware Parking Lot on Powell Drive.

St. Vincent de Paul is accepting a range of items to help people out, from non-perishable food items to winter clothing and even toiletries and hygiene products.

Monetary contributions are also being accepted, with those who are unable to drop down in person to consider an EMT donation,

St. Vincent de Paul says it’s not just a food drive, but an opportunity to show neighbours they are supported and cared for.

The event takes place Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
