A man who was on the run from RCMP since September has been arrested.
Police say 40-year-old Andy Lorne Morey of South Brook was apprehended earlier today by RCMP in Springdale.
Morey was wanted on a series of serious charges in connection with a shooting in South Brook.
He’s accused of pointing a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent, and a number of other weapons-related offences in connection with an incident at a home in that town.
He’s also facing previous charges of assault and criminal negligence.
