The winners of the 2024 Canadian Radio Awards have been announced and one of our own has been recognized.

VOCM’s Richard Duggan has been named “Best Anchor or Reporter” in a medium-sized market. Duggan is VOCM’s legislative reporter and also covers many other events and issues relating to the province.

VOCM was also a runner-up for the Best Community Service Initiative for our 2023/24-hour radiothon in support of Daffodil Place.

The Canadian Radio Awards are distributed by Broadcast Dialogue Magazine with a focus on recognizing those both in front of the mic and behind the scenes of radio.
