The RNC is investigating after gunshots were fired in the area of Canada Drive in St. John’s.

Calls started coming in around 6:00 Wednesday evening from people reporting what they thought sounded like gunshots. Patrol officers canvassed the area. They could find no witnesses or anyone with injuries at that time.

However, members of the CID later confirmed property damage caused by gunshots, in what they believe was a targeted attack.

The RNC is seeking any possible CCTV or dash cam footage from the area of Frecker Drive, Burgeo Street, Topsail Road and Cowan Avenue between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11th.
