It wasn’t hard for police to trace a vehicle theft to a man who was walking around with the evidence in his pocket.

RNC were tipped off about a suspicious person in Conception Bay South yesterday afternoon. Officers recognized the 31-year-old as someone on their wanted list.

He was arrested on several outstanding warrants, but will face additional charges after a set of keys in his pocket was traced to a stolen vehicle.

He was taken to the lockup.
