Labrador Marine says the Kamutik W is continuing to supply northern Labrador with food and supplies, even as ice forms along the coast.
The vessel is still regularly passing in and out of Lake Melville and travelling to Labrador coastal communities, which are resulting in open water and unpredictable ice conditions for snowmobilers and those venturing out on the ice.
Labrador Marine says that depending on the conditions, the shipping season is expected to wrap up on December 28th, with further updates to be provided as necessary.
