The House of Assembly will reconvene in three weeks to debate the MOU with Quebec.
During last week’s news conference, Premier Andrew Furey announced that the multi-billion dollar agreement would be debated in the provincial legislature.
That is something both PC Leader Tony Wakeham and NDP Leader Jim asked for ahead of the announcement.
Government House Leader John Hogan has asked the speaker to open the House on January 6th for the debate.
