The province’s Child Death Review Committee is recommending that the Child and Youth Advocate look into a recent report received on the death of a child in the province.
The Department of Justice is bound by legislation to make public any recommendations related to a report received from the Child Death Review Committee within 60 days.
The latest report resulted in a recommendation for the Child and Youth advocate to determine whether the subject of the report received the services and supports needed to meet their mental health, child development and safety needs.
