One person has been arrested, and police are looking for a second suspect in connection with a break-in at the Newfoundland Power communications site in Old Perlican this week.

Harbour Grace RCMP say 40-year-old Hope Cox of Carbonear has been charged with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break-in instruments, theft under $5000, damage to property over $5000, and failing to comply with a release order.

The copper wire stolen from the site has been recovered.

Harbour Grace RCMP is continuing its investigation and is looking for a second suspect caught on surveillance camera during the break-in early Thursday morning.
