A group of volunteers came together over the weekend to row the machines at the Reps Fitness Centre in St. John’s for 24 straight hours.
They did it in support of the Gathering Place with each person taking a shift, rowing over 600 km in total.
The Gathering Place is a shelter and service provider for those who sometimes need a hand up.
The CF709 crew, including Michael Ingram, chose to help the Gathering Place, which is the focal point for many over the Christmas holidays.
In all, they raised over $3,000.
