A number of local players have been selected by Softball Canada to participate in the annual Men’s National Team Selection Camp at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida this spring.

Les Howey of CBS is part of the coaching staff for the selection camp, which will be held from April 30 to May 4.

Newfoundland and Labrador has a good showing of players.

Ryan and Shane Boland of the Goulds, Sean Cleary of Harbour Main. Bradley Ezekiel of Holyrood, Kyle Ezekiel of CBS, Jordan Pomeroy of Placentia and Colin Walsh of Petty Harbour are among the 23 players participating in the selection camp.
