Metro police were kept busy Christmas night, breaking up disturbances within the household.
A 28-year-old man has been charged with assault and resisting arrest after an incident around 7:30 in the west end of St. John’s, and a 50-year-old man is spending time at the lockup after an incident in the east end of the city at about 8:30. He faces charges of assault with a weapon, uttering threats and mischief.
Just after 9:00, the RNC rushed to a house in Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove and arrested a 23-year-old man on charges of assault causing bodily harm. He will appear in court today.
