Health Canada has issued a recall on two types of salt because of the possibility that they may contain bits of plastic.

The recall affects President’s Choice brand Mediterranean Sea Salt and Himalayan Pink Rock Salt with best before dates up to an including Jan. 17, 2026.

The national recall was initiated by Loblaw Companies Limited.
