A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged after police were notified of suspicious activity in and around the Newfoundland Power substation in Mobile on the weekend.
Ferryland RCMP were contacted around 3:30 Saturday afternoon by a security company who noticed a man who appeared to be trying to break in.
RCMP located the man at the site and arrested John Hastie, who was on probation.
He’s been charged with break and enter and breach of probation.
