RNC officers had their work cut out for them trying to arrest a man who broke into a home in Conception Bay South last night.

Police were called around 8:30 p.m. after the man, who was known to the residents, broke in and began causing trouble.

The 35-year-old wasn’t willing to go down without a fight as officers struggled to put him in handcuffs.

He was finally arrested and charged with break and enter, assault, property damage, uttering threats, assaulting a peace officer, and resisting arrest.

He was held for court.
