The search and seizure of items from a St. John’s home this week netted a large quantity of drugs, loaded firearms and a 3D-printed handgun.
Police descended on the home on Channing Place on Tuesday and seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl, more than one thousand pharmaceutical opioids, including oxycodone, morphine, codeine and hydromorphone, two kilograms of cocaine and $20,000 in cash.
Weapons seized included three handguns, including a Taurus .357 magnum, a loaded Glock 9 mm, a semi-automatic rifle, two pump-action shotguns – one of which was sawed-off – and a loaded 9 mm 3D printed pistol.
A total of 79 charges have been laid against 26-year-old Asian Htoo, including possession for the purpose of drug trafficking, as well as firearms and weapons charges.
He’s been remanded to custody pending a bail hearing set for January 22nd.
The investigation continues and further charges are possible.

- Two pump-action shotguns, one of which was sawed off
- Ammunition
- Over capacity magazines
- Prohibited weapons, including brass knuckles
