Premier Andrew Furey is remaining coy about when a provincial election might be called.

Election speculation ramped up this week, with many wondering if the writ might be dropped as early as today.

The Premier wouldn’t tip his hand when questioned on Your VOCM Mornings this morning.

He acknowledged that everyone is asking him about a possible early election, but he would only say that this is an election year and an election will be happening in 2025.
