Two men have been arrested and charged with a brazen early-morning break in at Always in Vogue in St. John’s.
Thieves made off with what the owner calls a “one of a kind” men’s seal skin bomber jacket after smashing through the store’s plate glass window.
Darren Halloran says he was notified around 5:00 this morning, and checked his security video.
It shows two people smashing through the plate glass window and making off with a mannequin wearing the coat.
Halloran says it’s not the first time the two culprits hit the store. He says when he saw the images, he recognized the culprits instantly.
He believes the same two people had entered the store around closing time on Saturday and made off with an armful of coats at that time.
“They were definitely down there scoping it out,” says Halloran.
RNC arrested two men today. A 30-year-old is facing one count of break and enter and two counts of breach of a release order, while a 31-year-old is charged with break and enter, failing to comply with a release order and breach of probation.
