The RNC is once again calling on residents aware of criminal activity in their neighbourhoods to contact police directly.
Posts have been circulating on a variety of neighbourhood Facebook pages concerning recent vehicle break-ins, but they’re not reflected in RNC calls for service.
Constable James Cadigan says thefts from vehicles are usually crimes of opportunity, which is why it’s important to keep your vehicle locked and remove any valuables or tuck them away out of plain sight.
In the meantime Cadigan is once again emphasizing the importance of calling police about any suspicious behaviour seen in the community.
To report a crime in progress, always call 911. All other police reports in RNC jurisdiction can be made by calling 709-729-8000 or by using the online reporting system at https://t.co/mos6rApILC. pic.twitter.com/7y8ZMYVeoU
