A 39-year-old woman has a date with the court after stealing merchandise from a store in the east end last night.

RNC pulled into the parking lot just as the woman was powerwalking across the lot with the stolen items.

The items were recovered and returned the store.

She was released to appear in court at a later date on a charge of theft.
