Thick black smoke rolled over Paradise late Sunday afternoon as fire broke out around the town depot near the town hall.
Several fire trucks raced to the scene just before 430 to douse the flames. The fire is under control.
There was no one in the town hall or depot at the time of the fire, and there are no reports of any injuries from the incident. Residents are asked to avoid the area at this time.
Town of Paradise advises that at approx 4:20pm today, Sun. Feb 9, there was a fire in the depot area of the Town Hall. First Responders on site & fire is under control.
