Environment Minister Lisa Dempster has announced $12 million for the province’s Climate Change Challenge Fund.
Dempster made the announcement in Portugal Cove-St. Philips this morning.
The grant program is open to municipalities, local business, non-profits and community organizations involved in projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The deadline for applications is Friday, April 11th, and the projects must be completed no later than the end of 2028 to be eligible for funding.
