Bay St. George RCMP are looking for information after they say a truck was intentionally set ablaze in Piccadilly early this morning.

Police were called to the parking lot of the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic church shortly after 12:30 a.m. where the truck was on fire.

Footprints were observed in the snow leading from the vehicle into a wooded area, and eventually back out onto the main road where it is believed the suspect was picked up.

The investigation is continuing. Police are asking residents to check surveillance footage for any suspicious activity around the time of the arson.
