The NDP is calling on government to remove the taxation on all forms of home heating, including electricity and oil.

NDP Leader Jim Dinn says the GST tax holiday showed positive economic outcomes with people having more money to put back in the local economy.

Dinn says removing the HST from electricity, oil and wood would amount to immediate relief for people across the province.

Many have been complaining of high power bills this past month.
