Crab price negotiations are now underway under the dark shadow cast by Donald Trump’s 25 per cent tariffs.
FFAW President Dwan Street says there’s no doubt that the tariffs are adding a layer of complication to the process.
“We can sit down and talk about formulas and pricing mechanisms as much as we want, but right now the tariff issue is the Bogey man, and how we’re going to deal with that” says Street.
