An update is coming today on efforts to remove the Baltic III from the rocks at Lark Harbour where it grounded after losing power on February 15th.
Recent assessments on the vessel’s hull show large cracks and holes, most of which is lying on the bottom.
Salvage operations are being conducted by U.S.-based T and T, which was called in by the cargo ship’s owner.
The Canadian Coast Guard will provide an overview of the current status of the response operation this morning at 11:00.
