RCMP are continuing their probe into the cause of a fire last fall that destroyed the iconic Driftwood Inn in Deer Lake, claiming the life of a 77-year-old man.
The fire broke out on the morning of October 19 as the town was hosting school volleyball teams for a provincial tournament.
While the young athletes and their families staying at the hotel managed to get out, an American man who was visiting the area on a dream hunting trip was killed in the blaze.
