RCMP in Harbour Breton have arrested and charged a man for discharging a firearm with intent to harm as the result of a disturbance in Belleoram on Sunday.
Police were called shortly after 3:30 in the morning to a call alleging that a man was being threatened by another.
Responding officers later learned that a firearm was shot outside a local home. There were no injuries.
Twenty-seven-year-old Trent Poole was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm with intent to wound a person, careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with a release order.
Poole was released to appear in court at a later date.
