Transportation Minister Fred Hutton will provide details this afternoon on the provincial government’s roads plan.
The province today announced more than $316 million for road construction and maintenance work on highways for the 2025-26 construction season, in addition to a partial list of projects for 2026-27.
Tenders have already been issues for work on the Northwest Gander River Bridge, the Main Tickle Bridge in Twillingate and road work on the Argentia Access, Roache’s Line and a section of the Trans Canada in the area of Doyles.
Minister Hutton will provide more details to reporters this afternoon at 2:00 along with Executive Director of the Heavy Civil Association, Kris Mulcahy.
