The RNC have released more details on an incident that sent a teenage girl to hospital for treatment.

Police say 19-year-old Aidan Hawco has been charged with assault, aggravated assault, forcible confinement and uttering threats.

The investigation was launched after a 17-year-old girl turned up at the Janeway around 11:00 last night with what are described as severe, but non-life threatening injuries, including stab wounds.

The suspect was located at a home in CBS and was arrested and charged.
