There is a winner of the largest jackpot in the history of the VOCM Cares 50/50 draw.

Wanda Boland takes home $82,000. Jenelle Lambert of VOCM Cares says the remaining $82,000 goes to the many programs and charitable causes supported by therm.

The winning ticket was drawn on Your VOCM Mornings just after the 8:30 news.

The VOCM Cares Foundation 50/50 draw has officially closed, and organizers say it has surpassed all previous totals.

This year’s jackpot has climbed to an all-time high of $164,680—the largest prize in the fundraiser’s history.

Proceeds support a wide range of community programs and charitable initiatives throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

The winning ticket will be drawn live this morning at 8:40 a.m. during Your VOCM Mornings.
