The City of Mount Pearl is looking to redevelop the old swimming pool site on Stapleton Road to meet the demand for housing.
The city is now accepting expressions of interest for the site. Specifically, they are looking for proposals for high-density housing developments on the 2.58 acre parcel of land.
Preference is being given to proposals featuring more than 50 units.
Mayor Dave Aker says the city has already cleared and remediated the site to make it easier for developers.
Proposals are being accepted until May 26.
