The federal government forced an end to the postal strike late last year but the two sides are no closer to a settlement, so our mail service could be headed for yet another disruption.

Bargaining with the help of a mediator resumed last week for a couple of days, and now the two sides have gone back to their respective headquarters to talk things over. McDonald says the objective is to report back by May 22.
McDonald says wages and benefits are always key issues, and postal workers are also seeking job security.
