Metro police had to chase after several people after a vehicle failed to pull over last night.

Officers attempted to haul the car over in the centre city area just before 1:30 a.m., but the driver hit the gas and attempted to get away.

The car was stopped shortly after, but that’s when all three inside swung the doors open and took off on foot.

The driver and passengers were located and the 31-year-old behind the wheel was arrested and charged with dangerous operation, resisting arrest, and flight from police.

The two others were released without charge.
