A man has been charged with impaired driving after an accident during one of the busier times of day following a multi-vehicle crash in St. John’s.
The accident happened at about 3:00 yesterday afternoon in the area of Penneywell Road and Columbus Drive.
There were no serious injuries, but the operator of one of the vehicles, a 50-year-old man, was taken into custody. He has been charged with impaired, and is without his driver’s licence and vehicle.
He will be back in court at a later date.
