A paramedic was injured by the very person they were trying to help during a medical assistance call yesterday.
An ambulance was called to the centre city area around 9:00 yesterday morning in relation to a non-urgent medical situation.
While one of the paramedics was assisting the woman in need of medical attention, she assaulted them, causing minor injuries.
RNC was called in and the 65-year-old was arrested and charged with assault and breach of probation.
She was held for a court appearance.
